I am delighted to announce that €20 million of roads funding has been allocated for Kildare.
This is a tremendous investment in the county, and I absolutely welcome the strong focus and investment on roads here in Kildare.
The investment package announced by Government for the country amounts to over €713M for regional and local roads in 2025.
This represents an increase of over 8% in funding this year for road and safety improvements on the vast interconnected regional and road network.
Over €11M in funding has been allocated for Kildare road restoration improvements.
Funding has also been secured for works on eight bridge rehabilitation projects as well funding for numerous safety improvement projects on our counties regional and rural roads.
