The Osberstown junction in Sallins is overloaded and dangerous at times as traffic struggles to get out here. I was delighted to have my motion for a yellow box passed at council and put in place. Hopefully this will make some difference to the daily congestion here. However, I will continue to explore options for a long term solution at the junction to relieve the chronic traffic situation.
James, as I mentionef to you while you canvassed Hollywood park, I have serious concerns at the continued abandonment by Naas TC and more recently KCC of the cyclelanes on the Sallins Road. They were initially established in partnership with then DTO, now DTA, and have been allowed descend into serious and dangerous disrepair. I would be obliged if you could advocate to effect relining and resurfacing, preferably in colour if possible.
