Work has already started at the Craddockstown site.
There is welcome news on the announcement from Sean Ashe, head of the KWWETB, that he has sought permission from the Minister to re-home Naas Community School (otherwise known as Pipers Hill NS) into the new school building campus underway at Craddockstown. I’ve been closely following the development of new schools in the greater Naas area for some time now and this is a positive development.
Currently there are 200 students in Pipers Hill Primary. The new school at Craddockstown is going to have spare capacity given that it is only opening one year at a time. This way the children in Pipers Hill NS get out of prefabs and into proper buildings rather than them lying idle.
In response to representations from myself and my colleagues, I am delighted this move has now been made. Plans should be advancing rapidly for the second level too and I look forward to the Minister’s response on all fronts.
Hi James,
I was just wondering if piper’s hill primary will be permanently relocating to craddockstown or are there plans to develop a permanent school at the Piper’s Hill campus in the future?
Hi
Some confusion here. The pupils are not moving to the craddacktowns school. In fact they are getting more prefabs. What is going on ?
