It was a pleasure to attend Newtown Community Day today which saw a re-enactment of the battle of Ovidstown, complete with Wexford pikemen, along with lots of music, story telling, tea and treats and lots of squally weather! Congrats to the organising committee and all involved in a very successful and fun day.
