When it comes to waste and recycling, where, what and how much should all be documented in the KCC’s county development plan. Volumes, site locations and waste types should be clearly outlined so that proposed waste providers know exactly what they can do and where they can do it.

Instead, we get this “chance-your-arm-and-see” approach which is totally the result of KCC’s incompetence to deal with the issue of waste management head on.
