The new bridge is a good idea.  I think a town centre needs to be focused around this area.

As for traffic, a ring road is important.  The existing Sallins bridge over the M7 should be developed into an interchange and the ring road should essentially feed into this.  Therefore, M4 - M7 traffic would not need to go through Sallins.  I think Kildare North councillors should look to develop a motorway from Maynooth to Naas as this is a main artery and would encourage industry and business away from Dublin (i.e. Maynooth, Clane, Sallins and Naas industrial/business region).

It would benefit the people of Kildare too?  Has anyone in Kildare Co Co thought of this?</description>
